Pick a room, pay the deposit, and you’re in. There’s no application and nobody is deciding whether you’re allowed — it takes about two minutes.

What you pay, and when

Today

A $1,000 deposit holds your room and locks your place in the cohort. It comes off the total, not on top of it.

Then

The balance splits into three equal installments on 1 March, 1 June and 1 August 2027, and we invoice you — you don’t have to remember dates. Paying it all at once is fine if you’d rather.

What happens next

  1. You get a receipt and a welcome email — within a few minutes, not a few days.
  2. You’re added to the group channel when the arc opens, and that’s where the other seven are.
  3. The first book is announced in May, along with the call dates.
  4. Everything practical arrives in September — the train, what to pack for Yorkshire in October, the final book.

Before you book

Cancellations

Cancel before 1 May 2027 and everything comes back except the deposit. Between 1 May and 1 August, half comes back. After 1 August, nothing does — which is exactly what travel insurance is for. Plain English, on this page, not buried in a policy document.

Travel insurance

Required, not optional. It covers the things a cancellation policy can’t, and it’s the reason the policy can be clear.

What isn’t included

Very little. Getting to London, travel insurance, your bar tab, and whatever you spend on your free day. The full itinerary has the detail, and I’ll email it to you.

  2. The sold-out room stays on the page. Something visibly gone is honest scarcity, and it’s more persuasive than a page where everything is still available.
  3. Every price difference is explained. If one room costs more, the page says why, so nobody has to guess or email to ask.
  4. The money and the cancellation terms are in plain English, right here. The deposit, the installment dates and what happens if she cancels, on the booking page itself, not buried in a policy document.
  5. It says what happens after she pays. The moment after paying is when people most wonder whether they should have. Telling them exactly what arrives, and when, is the cheapest reassurance there is.
